Your Youth will be Renewed like the Eagles

All women are daughters of Sarah, wife of Abraham. When Sarah was 60 years old, Pharoah, King of Egypt wanted her to be in his harem. She was beautiful in her old age. And when Sarah reached 90 years of age, Abimelech, king of Gerar, wanted her in his harem as well. Sarah’s youth was literally renewed like the eagles. Even at the age of 90, a king wanted her and she had the strength and youth to conceive seed. God renewed Sarah’s youth and opened her womb to conceive Isaac at 91 years old. She was physically attractive and looked young in her golden years. Imagine, two kings wanted Sarah to be in their harems and she must have looked very attractive to them physically. This is not spiritual renewal that you cannot see but tangible and real. Thank goodness, all women are daughters of Sarah and we need to wait upon the Lord to renew our youth.

Eschatology and Missiology

You might be wondering what those two terms above mean. Well, Eschatology is defined as the study of events on earth that leads to the establishment of God's final kingdom. On the other hand, missiology is the study of strategies and initiatives that determines the final population of God's kingdom.

Hence, Eschatology + Missiology = Our Destiny.

Basically, a kingdom requires a king, a territory and subjects. What happens when you have a king, subjects but no territory? A refugee camp!

God established himself a kingdom through creation. Adam and Eve were the first man and woman God created. When Eve sinned, Adam suffered from temporary lapse of judgement. Afterall, it was Eve who asked Adam to taste the forbidden fruit and hence, it was woman who sinned. Interesting eh?

Bid for Prizes

Everyone loves to receive Free gifts. That's because you don't have to pay for it. The value of the free gift may range from a few dollars to a few hundreds or more. Now you can check out Sweepstake from Bid 4 Prizes dot com for more details. What's more, you can win cash prize from the web site. For myself, I have bids and won items before using Ebay like small tube perfume, flavored drink like Pinata Colada which I cannot find it here in Penang, compatible ink cartridges for Epson printer from China and calendars with flowers by Helen Stein and Walt Disney characters.

It was fun bidding for the items online using Ebay. And when you have won the items, you profile will increase by one and after a certain number, you can earn a yellow star like what I got. It shows credentials and trustworthiness so that other sellers know that you pay on time and give positive feedbacks to them. Bidding on Ebay also test my ability to sell and buy items navigating through the links. Likewise, you can also do the same thing for Bid for Prizes to win free gifts, cash prize and sweepstake.

So why wait, check out the links above and who knows, you may win one of your favorite items online. The internet is so marvellous. You can do business online, make money online and even bid for prizes online - all at the comforts of home.

Magic Loans

Last 2 weeks, I have bought a new condominium in Birch Regency in Penang Times Square which will be ready in 2009 in Phase 2 of the construction. Yesterday, the Secured Home Equity Loans officer from HSBC came to my house to get my 6 months of pay slip and photocopies statements of my bank accounts as proof of incoming payments monthly. She calculated for me the loan I have to pay back in 10 years to 28 years time. Of course, the sooner I pay of the debt, the less interests from the bank I need to pay off and it will save me money in the long term. I hope my home loan will be approved soon and I will know the results next week on Tuesday.

Woke up later today

This morning, I woke up later than usual. I could just take breakfast the usual time, but my instincts have me lying in bed longer than usual. I was not in the mood to work by the computer so early. So there I go, sleeping in my silk comforter from China and napping longer than usual. It is so nice to have flexible working hours that I don't have to get dressed and drive in traffic jams every morning. Work is just turning on the computer downstairs at home office. And I work at my own pace just like a boss. With no one to look over my shoulders or checking on my work. My boss trusts me completely. I could not ask for more.

Bad Credit Offers

Bad Credit Offers features credit cards, mortgages, loans, and resources for people with bad credit. With the number of "bad credit" consumers in the U.S. growing by the day, their site is a great resource to help these consumers get back on their feet financially. Rather than applying for the first offer that comes in the mail, their site allows visitors to compare dozens of bad credit offers from major providers and find the best offer to fit their needs. And by making payments on time, consumers can rebuild their credit and, perhaps, their financial future.

Nowadays, we read news about US's subprime rate and problems associated with real estate with people borrowing too much and are unable to pay back. And the amount is not small. It goes by the billions and US banks are considering writing off the huge debt since the debtors are unable to pay back. This does not augur well for the US economy. As an aside, with the possible impending war with Iran, US is further driven back back huge spending if the war ever occurs at all. Iran does not seem to learn the lesson from US war with Iraq years back. And the head is adamant about proceeding with nuclear research for the small country.

Bad credit offers is a relieve to all who are in financial dire straits. Whether it is a bad habit of gambling or being jobless and needing funds to finance your daily live, you can check out the link above. Bad credit offers will not disappoint you should you need further money to spend.

Back from Kuala Lumpur

I came back yesterday night from KL after visiting Port Dickson. Boy, I was so tempted to just relax by the beach of the hotel that we have visited. The beach has pebbled red sand, and it was clean, almost untouched by tourists. Penang's beaches are too polluted by too many tourists, mostly those from the kampung who throws things anyhow as and when they like. The trip to Port Dickson was fruitful and my boss got another project for his staff. I guess spending about RM500 for the trip was well worth it including our time there. The toll, petrol and car maintenance, all in all, cost about this amount for each trip we embark to KL. As it was raining heavily for most of the journey back to Penang, we did not stop in Tapah to buy fruits. So no fruits for my family.

Travel Guide

I love travelling and have been to China and sponsored my parents there in August this year. In November from 8th to 11th, I will travel to Bangkok and Pattaya with my youngest sister. And in December just before Christmas, I will be in Genting Highlands for 3 days 2 nights. We will drive down to Genting Highlands along the North South Highway and exit through the Tanjung Malim Highway for a shorter route there. I love travelling to Genting Highland which is a mountain resort with plenty of attractions all year round. For those of you who love to travel, you can check out travel guide from Real Travel dot com.

You can discover places through travel guide and share them with friends and relatives. There are many features in the travel guide such as searching for flights, hotels, packages and cars. You can find the best option to suit your budget. You can compare prices for flights in sites like travelocity, cheap tickets, cheap air, and more. Just surf the links provided and who knows, you may find the ideal package for your family to travel.

Going to Port Dickson

Later this afternoon after lunch, I will be going down to KL with my boss and stay one night in Subang Jaya. The following morning, we will drive down to Negeri Sembilan to Port Dickson and visit a client for sports project. We were supposed to meet up earlier immediately after Hari Raya, but my colleague overlook this and forgot about it. So, we plan to meet up on Friday or Saturday for the job. Thank goodness, I have recovered from my fever two days ago. That time I was having a headache and body temperature rose to 38.6 degrees Celcius. Hopefully, I can buy back from fruits like pomelo this time around.

Alternate Cancer Cream

Cancer is a very debilitating disease that may cost you your life. I had a cousin who died of leukemia many years ago. She was taken away at the peak of her life at a young age in her twenties. For those who are suffering from skin cancer, there is a solution and treatment for you. There are alternatives in treating skin cancer, other than today’s practice of cut and burn. Their salves are paste based creams designed for external application with formulas containing an array of mixtures using first quality wild herbs. They include Bloodroot paste, Black salve, cancema, Chaparral, Graviola, and Red Clover. The inhibitors and activators consist of mixtures of natural mineral salts. Single herbs, inhibitors, and activators are used in some of their specialty creams and salves. Check out alternate cancer cream today from AltCancerCream dot com.

You can also buy from the web site link above. For each product of cream, there is a picture and price included and you may wish to buy now. There is a feature for you to check all your ordered products before you check out to make payment through your credit card through their safe and secure payment gateway. And then have the creams delivered right to your door steps.

Selamat Hari Raya

Here is to wish all my Muslim readers a Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Fitri. It is going to be a long holiday over the weekend with the muslims celebrating their new year. And I just came back from Kim Gary in Gurney Plaza, after treating my parents and youngest sister lunch there. The total cost was RM59++ after the taxes. We had to queue up for our table which thank goodness was not too long. After a while, we were shown to our table at the back. I had fish fillet with mushroom rice and Hong Kong style tea, which tasted more like teh tarik without the egg. My dad and youngest sister order the set lunch which comes with Borche soup, and tasted more like tomato soup with lots of cabbage and carrots. I am also in a holiday mood, hence less frequency of blogging.

First Malaysian in Space

Last night I watch life on Astro channel 588, our very handsome doctor, Sheikh Muszaphar lift off into space on board the Russian Soyuz TMA-11 spacecraft at 9:21pm (Malaysian time). Rephrasing Neil Armstrong’s legendary words, Dr Sheikh Muszaphar said, “It’s a small step for me, but a great leap for the Malaysian people.” Hospital UKM’s Dr Sheikh Muszaphar will make history being the first Malaysian in space.

The TMA-11 aircraft carrying the 35-year-old doctor and his flight mates - Russian cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko and American Peggy Whitson - is scheduled to dock at ISS (International Space Station) at 10:51pm (local time) on Friday. Soyuz TMA-11 will take 2 days to reach the ISS - 360km above the Earth.

Dr Sheikh Muszaphar is to study the effects of microgravity and space radiation on cells and microbes, as well as experiment with proteins for a potential HIV vaccine. Malaysia is paying for the voyage as part of a billion-dollar purchase of Russian fighter jets. The rocket - adorn with a Malaysian flag and coat of arms and carrying the Soyuz TMA-11 spacecraft - was moved on Monday to the launch pad from its assembly site at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, which Russia rents from Kazakhstan. Dr Sheikh is to return to Earth on Oct 21 with two Russian members of the current space station crew.

Another first for the Malaysian ‘angkasawan’ (astronaut), is that he will be hosting a Hari Raya party on board the space station on the first day of Syawal. He has taken satay and some ‘kuih’ Raya to treat the others on board. This is all so exciting. I bet Dr Sheikh will get his Datukship when he returns to Malaysia - our very handsome orthopaedic surgeon who’s also a model.

Fixed Deposits versus Unit Trusts

I am pondering should I put the bulk of money into the slow and steady FD (Fixed Deposits) or takes risks and invest in Unit Trusts which hopefully bring in more returns. Unit trusts are a group of shares managed by a fund manager. When you put your money into unit trusts, about 5% is already deducted from the principal for the fund managers. This is quite a huge amount but the proposed returns are supposed to be better. This is just a projected return. However, I feel much safer to put into FD for less but sure profit. FD return is around 3.7% a year which is not too bad. So between the two, to avoid less headache, I rather put into FD for a less but sure return.

Going to KL in a short while

I have been travelling so frequently. Later this morning, my boss will come to fetch me for the trip to KL, to meet up with a client and maybe we might drive down to Johor for another meeting. I am not sure when I will be back but hopefully by the weekend I can be back to Penang. Now it seems that I travel about twice a month outstation mainly to KL. I guess I need to get used to this frequency of travelling at a short notice.
